About the webinar
One body. Multiple ageing trajectories. One number isn't enough.
We often talk about biological age as though the entire body ages at the same rate.
It doesn't.
Different biological systems can follow different trajectories, shaped by genetics, environment, lifestyle, metabolic health and other factors.
That raises an important question for longevity medicine:
If ageing is multidimensional, why are we still trying to describe it with a single number?
On 15 October, Dr. Charles Randquist and Dr. Stuart Diamond MD FACS, CLP join us to explore what today's science can, and cannot, tell us about how we age.
We'll look beyond the headline biological age number and discuss different layers of ageing biology, including epigenetic, inflammatory, metabolic and functional biomarkers.
And importantly, we'll ask what happens after we measure.
- Can we identify which biological systems are changing fastest?
- Can those changes inform more targeted interventions?
- And when we measure again, how do we know whether we have changed the underlying biology, rather than simply moved a biomarker?
Because the future of longevity medicine isn't just about measuring age. It's about making biological change measurable.
